AC224 is a custom design Antenna Combiner and Distribution Module, 2-Zone antenna combining, antenna and dc power distribution module. Designed for where the weight and size matters without sacrificing on performance. 


The AC224 is a 2x2 IN and 2x4 OUT active antenna combiner and distribution system with in-built front-end low-loss band-pass filtering, LNA and user-adjustable gain stage at each antenna input. The AC224 enables the user to cover 2-zone wider area for cart and trolley set-up applications with improved RF coverage and performance and provides a tidy solution in sound bag applications as a 2x1 IN and 2x4 OUT.


There are four industry standard BNC Antenna input connectors that enables use of standard low loss RF extension cables, and there eight mini-RF SMA connectors feeding the diversity receivers. Each antenna input can be individually turned ON/OFF via the display menu when not used, a LED indicator also showing the status of each Antenna input.


In applications when remote antenna powering is needed, the AC224 offers individually switchable Remote Antenna powering with LEDs indicating power status, the Active Antenna Powering can be turned ON/OFF through the display menu.

The AC224 has a very high input signal handling capacity with very low noise figure and offers an outstanding inter-modulation performance when compared to other low power devices available.


The frequency range is custom tuned to customer’s order, the front-end band-pass-filter design is a very low-loss with a very high selectivity at lower and upper frequencies; each antenna input gain is individually user adjustable in 1dB steps between +6dB to -10dB, the AC224 is compatible with full-digital, digital-hybrid and analogue radio microphone receivers available in the industry.

A large colour TFT display is used offering a user selectable colour combinations to suit the lighting and visibility. Brightness may be adjusted through the display menu to suit visibility.


The AC224 is externally powered between 10-18Vdc, the dc input is an industry standard 4-pin Hirose and the DC Distribution with 4xHirose dc output connectors for powering auxiliary equipment. Each dc output port can be individually turned ON/OFF through the display menu, a voltmeter continuously monitors the dc input voltage.
